Storm & Emergency Restoration

Storm & Emergency Restoration

Crews and equipment staged before the season, not after the call.

Overview

What This Actually Involves.

On the Gulf Coast, storm response is not a contingency line item. It is a recurring operational fact, and the contractors who handle it well are the ones who staged equipment in May rather than sourcing it in September.

ConLit is based in Mobile County. We are not driving in from three states away after the roads reopen — we are already here, and our crews have families in the same service area.

Scope

What's Included.

Pre-season staging

Equipment, splice trailers, and material staged before the season rather than sourced during it.

Damage assessment

Rapid route assessment so you know what is actually broken before committing crews.

Emergency splice

After-hours and weekend splice response for cuts and storm damage.

Temporary restoration

Getting service back on a temporary path while the permanent rebuild is scheduled.

Permanent rebuild

Replacing the temporary fix properly, with the documentation to match.

Mutual aid support

Crews available to support larger restoration efforts under prime contractors.

How We Run It

Four Steps, No Surprises.

01

Pre-season

Contact list confirmed, staging verified, and rates agreed before anyone needs them.

02

Assess

Route assessment and damage triage — the fastest path back to service, not just the first break we find.

03

Temporary restore

Service back on a temporary path where a permanent rebuild would take too long.

04

Permanent rebuild

Rebuild to standard, tested and documented, with the temporary plant recovered.

Common Questions

Straight Answers.

How fast can you mobilise?

For existing customers with a standing agreement, same day within our service area. That agreement is what makes it fast — arranging it during a storm does not work.

Do you work under mutual aid or prime contractors?

Both. We take direct work and we support primes running larger restoration programmes.

What does emergency work cost?

Emergency and after-hours rates are set in the agreement ahead of time. Nobody should be negotiating rates while their network is down.
